What
is a safelist?
Definition of a Safelist
- A safelist is a site/program that allows you to send and
receive emails to other people without spamming.
How will using a
safelist benefit me?
100% Opt-in
Spam Free Email Marketing
Free and Pro Memberships (sometimes more options)
Earn Commission on every upgrade referral (not all safelists
have this, but a lot do)
Increase sales
Send emails regularly with no loss of ISP due to spam
Members are waiting for your offers
What do the different
memberships mean?
This really depends
on the safelist, itself. There can be free, pro, premium
and platinum. Usually the difference lie in how many times
you can email in a certain period of time, how many members
you can email to, advertising opportunities, and many more
options.
What are things to
look for when joining a safelist?:
What services they
offer and for what price?
How many members do
they have?
How often you can email?
Do they have an affiliate
program?
How much money should
I invest in safelists?
This really depends
on your type of business and how much you have budgeted
for marketing.
Am I breaking Spam
Laws by using a safelist?
NO! When someone signs up
for a safelist, they are agreeing to receive your emails.
This is NOT spam!
So, what if the safelist
is NOT working for me and my business?
You always have the option
of opting out of the safelist and cancelling your membership.
But, do remember, that MOST safelists do NOT have a return
policy, so if you have paid for a lifetime membership, for
example, you will NOT get any money back!
Where can I go to
start a safelist of my own? How much does it cost?
There are numerous
scripts for safelists depending on what program you would
like to use. Doing a search will most definitely bring up
a list of many programs. Also, if you use eBay, you will
find some very inexpensive web sites, either pre-made or
scripts, to get you started. Remember. there will probably
be a hosting fee for running a safelist and the inital cost
which can run from 10.00 - 40.00 depending on where you
go!
